Chocolate Chip

WARNING: Contains Milk
Today I began my journey in the world of baking; exciting, exciting. I took a nontraditional route and used a Babycakes. A babycake is a countertop appliance that bakes mini cupcakes to perfection! This is a great tool to have. It's easy to clean, takes very little space, and can easily create lots of fond memories. (www.thebabycakesshop.com)
This was also my first time using a piping bag, which I used to frost. I learned how to use it by watching seasons 1 & 2 of TLC's Next Great Baker. Great show, I highly recommend it.
Now to the cupcake:
I made a Chocolate Chip cake with tael Vanilla Frosting, topped with mini chocolate chips.
The chocolate chip recipe can be found in the link to the right: www.cooks.com/recipe/o88q39vp/chocolate-chip-cupcakes.html
The vanilla frosting was simply:
1/2 creamed butter, 3 cups powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons of milk, and one 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. This makes enough frosting to frost the whole batch of cupcakes with extra to spare (though these were mini cupcakes).  Also, this frosting tastes GREAT on graham crackers and pretzels.
